GENERAL OFFER FOR HOT DIP GALVANIZING SERVICE

Mostostal-Met Sp. z o.o. Galvanizing Plant offers hot dip galvanizing services for steel products and elements. We galvanize elements of big dimensions and heavy weight, e.g. overhead railway trestles, structures of production bays and warehouses, lampposts, etc. We also handle medium-sized and small elements, e.g. tanks, containers, gates, fences, road guard rails, platform grates, wire nets, etc.

I. Parameters.

Dimensions: length up to 12,000 mm, width up to 1,300 mm, height up to 2,600 mm.
Maximum weight of a single galvanized element – 6.0 Mg.

Note: If dimensions of an element exceed the abovementioned specification, technical and construction details need to be discussed with the marketing department of our Plant.

II. Quality standards of galvanized coatings.

Galvanized coatings provided by our Plant comply with technical and quality requirements stipulated in PN EN ISO 1461 standard.
We can also provide galvanized coatings of technical specification different than that of PN EN ISO 1461 standard. In such a case a detailed agreement must be prepared and an appropriate contract signed.

III. Technical requirements regarding elements to be hot galvanized.

Elements to be hot galvanized should be designed and made pursuant to generally valid construction rules and galvanizing technology requirements.

These rules and requirements are as follows:

Choosing the proper steel grade:

a. All fast joined elements of a construction should be made of the same steel grade.

b. The content of silicon in the steel should be lower than 0.03% or should be in the range between 0.15% and 0.25%.

If closed sections are used, constructions should be designed and manufactured in a way, which enables free flow of gases and liquids; such sections should have special technological holes drilled in them.
Constructions should include holes and handles for fastening them during transport.
If constructions are made of materials of different thickness, the ratio of welded elements cannot be higher than 4:1.
Constructions should be clean, fee of lapping elements, scale, welding spalls, paint, oil, penetrants, etc.

IV. Trade Conditions

All trade conditions including, but not limited to, prices, deadlines, payment terms, etc shall be agreed each time between a buyer and the marketing department of our Plant. Additionally, they shall be stipulated in a detailed contract.

Prices of galvanizing services provided by our Plant are competitive and depend on a number of factors (including, but not limited to): construction type and its preparation, quantity of elements, size of the construction and its elements (dimensions and weight), galvanized coating thickness, etc.
Services are usually provided within 14 days from the day the construction is delivered to our Plant. The period may be shorter if a detailed schedule for materials deliveries and galvanized products collection is applied.
